Travis is a born and bred Gold Coaster who started a lifelong relationship with the ocean while growing up beside Mermaid Beach.
A creative child who loved sports Travis ended up studying a Bachelor of Business before embarking on a number of management roles within the sports and healthcare industries. However, his creativity and love of the surf never left him and eventually drew him to photography. After a decade of office roles, he picked up a camera for the first time and knew instantly it was for him.
Since self-teaching himself photography Travis has had work produced in Pacific Longboarder and Surfer Girl Magazine as well as being appointed staff photographer for Surfing Life Magazine. Travis made the top 20 of both the 2020 and 2021 Nikon Australian Surf Photo of the Year and was also a part of the Global Wave Conference Ocean and Surf Photo Exhibition. Travis has traveled to Hawaii and shot the famed Banzai Pipeline from the water and has provided photos for many local Gold Coast board riders clubs and events.
Still based out of the Gold Coast he has a passion for working with young surfers, creating surf and lifestyle content and shooting the world renowned Gold Coast surf breaks.
