Talking Surf is a panel discussion organised by Bond University for people interested in surfing, surf culture and the surf business.

Join us at Burleigh Barrels on Thursday 11 May for a discussion between Associate Professor Danny O’Brien, Higher Degree Research Director at Bond Business School and sport management researcher, Assistant Professor Dan Brennan author of the book Surfing and the Philosophy of Sport, and Dr. Craig Sims, publisher of the surfing publication White Horses. Danny will share some insights about his research on sustainable surf tourism, Dan will consider what it means to be a surfer, and Craig will discuss the intersection of commerce and subculture in surfing.
