Jacqueline Scott is an ocean and underwater photographer originally from Kiama on the South Coast of NSW, currently based in Gold Coast’s surf capital Coolangatta Queensland.
“My photography journey began in the late 90s when my dad gave me his old SLR camera. I started working in a photographic lab not long after, where I learnt on the go from avid photographers of all genres. For the last 17 years I have worked in and now manage Coolangatta’s iconic photographic shop ‘Wade’s World’, where I showcase my images.”
“Growing up in a small ocean town, I was drawn to the water early. As groms we grew up on our boogie boards and snorkelling, then as an adult I got into surfing and now have an obsession with freediving. Over the last decade, my photography has delved deeply into underwater landscapes, waves, marine life and mermaids.”
