Jed James Fasso Film Maker

Jed Fasso is a surfer and filmmaker from Byron Bay.

His work lives at the intersection of surf, snow and documentary storytelling, guided by curiosity and a respect for place.

Jed has spent his life surfing, growing up in a caravan park at Broken Head, where his teenage years were split between surfing and shooting. It wasn’t until he moved beyond surfing competitively that he realised filmmaking, creating, surfing and exploring held far more value to him.

In a world of constant output, authenticity is often buried beneath the noise, Jed is drawn to grassroots storytelling, filmmaking driven by purpose, process and genuine connection to people and place.
