Growing up in Tasmania, Australia, I have spent more than a decade working as a photographer focused on the Southern Ocean and its surf coastlines.
My work explores the relationship between people and wild ocean environments shaped by exposure, isolation and weather.
Working primarily in black and white, I’m drawn to the rawness and timelessness of these places, documenting waves, coastlines and the quiet human presence that exists alongside them. Surfing forms part of a broader connection to the coastline here, where access, environment, isolation, and changing conditions shape the experience as much as the waves themselves.
Alongside this long-term personal work, I have published long-form stories through international platforms focused on ocean culture, environment and place-based storytelling.
