Ted Grambeau is an Internationally renowned photographer highly experienced in advertising, corporate and editorial work with an accent on shooting in, on, around, and under water. ‘Just Add Water’

Ted Grambeau is one of the world’s most accomplished and well-travelled surf and adventure photographers.

Ted studied photography at RMIT university in Melbourne, and worked as an assistant to legendary photographer Burt Glinn, of Magnum photo agency, in New York, giving his work a solid technical foundation. Ted is highly experienced in advertising, corporate and editorial work with an accent on shooting in, on, around, and under water. As a professional photographer for 40 years Ted’s advertising and commercial clients range from Apple, Rip Curl, Speedo, Red Bull, Nikon, Quiksilver, Zoggs, Billabong, BMW and Patagonia to name but a few. With experience as a waterman from years of photographing in surf in the impact zone, Ted now translates this knowledge to abstract water photography, fashion, advertising and editorial assignments in and around the water. Ted has been a senior contributor to numerous surfing magazines around the world and has produced two hard cover books of his photography. His focus is on lifestyle, portraiture, fashion swimwear, action sports and surf adventure; specialising in extreme locations with a focus on problem solving and providing solutions for clients. “My passion is to create visually powerful and emotionally evocative imagery.”
