Trent holds a passionate obsession born out of his desire to see world class swells – previously thought to be unrideable – potentially being ridden, deep in the cold unpredictable and rugged Australian coastline.

Trent moved from the inner city comfort of South Australia, jumping the border and setting his site on the heavy barreling waters of Western Australia.

Blessed with a past of pain being diagnosed with idiopathic pancreatitis at the age of 18 left him with the fortunate mentality to overcome his greatest fears and experience the joy of unfathomable situations – both good and bad – in and around the roaring forties. Not content with his output fuels his ambition to seek ever more impressive images with an articulated awareness that the potential for undesirable outcomes is ever present.
