Join Director and Director of Photography Jamie Brooks for a gear-focused dive into his recent feature documentary, Volare. Jamie will break down selected scenes, unpacking how they were captured under real-world conditions.

This gear-focussed session is for filmmakers, photographers, and anyone curious about the craft behind cinematic storytelling. Jamie will bring along the RED and Nikon systems used on set, walking through his approach in practice.

With more than 18 years behind the camera, Jamie’s blends large-scale visual storytelling with an instinctive ability to capture authentic moments in extreme environments. Jamie’s most recent project is the feature documentary for Red Bull Media House “Volare,” which he directed, produced and filmed. Developed over 6months and across multiple international locations, the film was created in collaboration with a global team of athletes and filmmakers, capturing the progression, culture, and spirit of modern snowboarding.
