Flotsam Canisters

Film is king, and this is how we celebrate it. Flotsam Canisters brings together analogue photographers capturing their connection to the coast the old-school way: grain, light leaks, and all the magic in between. It’s raw, tactile, and deeply nostalgic… a love letter to shooting on film.

For the closing event, the exhibition flips into a one-night-only art lottery. Your “ticket” is an empty film canister, each one hiding a number that matches a fine art print on the wall. Crack it open, find your number, and take home your very own 6 x 8 inch collectible print from one of the featured artists.

No one knows what they’ll get, old school style: just like the thrill of waiting for film to develop.

Every canister sold goes directly to supporting the featured artists, with a few extra surprises in the mix: think film processing vouchers, reloaded cameras, and everything you need to kickstart your own analogue obsession.

This analogue exhibition will also feature the winners on the Lomography worldwide callout, and a closing party with a truckload of door prizes.

With the fine folk at Bayou Film, Wade’s World and Redisposable loading up the prize pool, plus food, drinks, tunes and seriously good vibes, Canisters is a full-send celebration of film culture.
