Slither into an immersive surf film x music experience with Lightwaves at Coolangatta’s after-dark destination, Rattlesnake Nightclub.

Surf movies and music have been BFF’s forever – entire eras of fads and fashions have been influenced by this combo. Co-joined once again for a double-headed night of entertainment, Rattlesnake Nightclub will be lit up with epic footage and projections from some of the area’s finest lensfolk and a crackin’ lineup of atmospheric, soundtrack-worthy live sounds. It’ll be like walking into a real life surf movie, only with a bar + your buddies right there in the barrel with you.

Part of Flotsam’s precinct-wide Block Party, Lightwaves is the festival kickoff gig you never knew you needed.

A new full length surf movie by your favourite underground surf company. Shot around the world, this film documents the brands growth or lack thereof. Rage is run by 4 friends for over 8 years, this film loosely touches on the origin story of the cockroaches of the surf industry and the team roaches they’ve picked up along the way.
