All events will be delivered within Queensland Health’s COVID Safe Events framework. Patrons should register using the Check In Qld app when attending events.
Don’t attend events if you are experiencing symptoms. Our COVID safe planning will be modified to align with changing government directives – please check in with us via social and this website for latest updates.
The rules around mask wearing are ever changing, however please carry a mask at all times, and wear a mask if you are unable to socially distance.
Keep 1.5m between yourself and others. You may attend events in your social or household group. Keep distance between yourself and other attendees.
And please, stay home if you are unwell or have a cough, fever, sore throat, fatigue or shortness of breath.
Some events in our schedule are partner events, but for full Flotsam events we will provide a refund or exchange if you advise before the event that you or any other members of your booking party are:
a) required to isolate or quarantine under laws aimed at reducing the spread of COVID-19 (and the event falls withing the isolation/quarantine period)
b) diagnosed with COVID-19;
c) exhibit symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g. fever, chills or sweats, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose or loss of sense of smell)
d) have been in close contact with anyone displaying COVID symptoms; or
e) have been tested for COVID-19 and are awaiting results.
Since the 17th December, visitors to entertainment venues in QLD have been required to be fully vaccinated to attend.
We are working to ensure that our festival adheres to all Queensland Health COVID requirements, as the health and safety of our attendees, volunteers and team is our top priority.
Attendees will be encouraged to check-in using the Queensland Government mobile app, ‘Check In QLD’ this ensures we’re providing a COVID safe environment for not only our attendees but the wider community. Our team will continue to monitor the ever-changing environment and continue to provide updates via our website and social media channels should there be any changes to festival programming.
