Grab your camera, your comfy walking shoes, your sunscreen and your sense of wonder and join the Flotsam team for a guided photo walk of the Focal Point Installations.
Connecting art to place, this series of installations will showcase photographic reproductions of iconic surf images and film stills positioned along the Oceanway in the landscape that inspired them.
Placed between D’bah and Kirra, the installations will showcase infamous lineup sequences, snippets of films and archival shots of landmarks long gone, all tied back to a common ocean theme.
Celebrated photographer Peter Joli Wilson will take you on a journey to a halcyon version of Coolangatta forever immortalized on film.
